Our Story

It all started with a Tinder bio about tacos or pizza. Alannah’s answer? Taco pizza. Brad saw that and thought, “That sounds delicious. I have to try it!” A right swipe later, here we are.

Our first date was on a chilly December night at Broers Jansen. The place was packed, so we grabbed a spot outside under a heater—not that we really noticed the cold. We were too busy talking (and maybe slightly nervous) to care. Hours flew by, and afterward, we wandered downtown, taking in the Christmas lights like we were in a cheesy rom-com.

Since then, life together has been a mix of love, laughter, and a lot of adventures. Franklin (Alannah’s dog) wasted no time deciding Brad was his new favorite person. Together, we’ve cheered at countless sports games, traveled to new places, and enjoyed spending time outdoors. We’ve also fully embraced our love of food and drinks. Cooking together, trying out new recipes, and, most importantly, perfecting our skills as self-proclaimed drink masters is something we cherish. But most importantly, we’ve shared so many amazing moments with the people we love.

Then came the road trip to Thunder Bay, where Brad had a plan. At Aguasabon Falls, he asked a couple to take our picture. Alannah, not super impressed with the view that day, was thinking, “The falls don’t even look that great right now,” but went along with it. After a few photos, Brad turned to her, dropped to one knee, and completely caught her off guard. Her first reaction? “Is this actually happening?!” Yes, it was. Brad smiled, said some incredibly sweet words, and asked, “Alannah Maureen Deborah, will you marry me?” Spoiler: she said yes! ;)

And now, here we are, planning our next big adventure, our wedding on September 19, 2025!! We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you and make even more unforgettable memories. Thanks for being part of our story, we’re just getting started!
